• Hello & Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my website. This online portfolio was developed to share my mission as a Speech Language Pathologist as well as showcase my academic endeavors, clinical experience, and professional engagements. My hope is that this site will cultivate connection and collaboration!

  • About Me

I am a ASHA certified and licensed Speech Language Pathologist. I am also certified as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and my Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from Long Island University, Post. To further my dedication in this field, I pursued my Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology from Northwestern University, which I earned in March of 2023.

My experiences have centered my therapy around creating access to and honoring all modalities of communication, especially individualized robust communication systems and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Additionally, I have fostered a deep focus around strength-based and neurodiversity-affirming practices. I am dedicated to ensuring accessible communication and inclusion through anti-bias and interdisciplinary approaches, including family collaboration. My passion for disability justice drives my dedication to life-long learning!

  •  My Mission

As a passionate SLP, I believe that every person has the right to safety and connection in the community. Building genuine relationships is an essential part of the human experience. Connections built on shared experiences and interests encourage a supportive community, and allow us to learn more about ourselves and each other. Supporting people with complex communication needs in the community means honoring connection through all modalities of communication and creating accessible environments where these genuine relationships can begin to flourish, in turn enhancing quality of life.

I seek to create community where communication, physical, sensory, emotional, and regulation supports are accessible and celebrated as these are the keys to connection! In striving to do this, we must center ourselves around research and lived experience. Both evidence-based practices and advocate voices are foundational to my practice!

    Paraprofessional Experience

As a paraprofessional, I supported students with multiple disabilities in a self-contained, elementary classroom setting and school environment. My years of experience as a paraprofessional provided me with the understanding that interdisciplinary approaches combined with home-school collaborations are essential for student success.
